How Motorcycle Radiator Works and How to Repairs It
Motorcycle — The components that
exist on the motorcycle radiator is very much, it requires maintenance to keep

water for radiators, but this is not recommended by motorcycle manufacturers.

While the coolant has a boiling
point and freezing point better than ordinary water, and each coolant has a
different substance content so it is not advisable to mix it. Coolant may be
replaced with a different brand as long as it is watered thoroughly, so there
is no mixing of the substances contained in each coolant, as each manufacturer
has their research.
Reservoir
The reserve tank for the coolant
that is usually positioned outside the radiator, function so that the coolant
has a long period to increase the amount of coolant on the radiator.
Radiator Hose radiator serves as a
rotation of the coolant, so if the radiator hose damaged will cause leakage
coming from the hose.
Radiator Pump
Serves to speed up the coolant
rotation in the cooling system, so that the cooling process becomes faster and
the temperature are maintained. Damage to the radiator pump usually occurs on
the rubber seal between the engine oil and water radiator damaged, consequently
coolant will run out because mixed with engine oil. This is very dangerous for

If the coolant runs out quickly and
there are no leakage from the outside of the radiator component, there may be a
leak in the rubber seal between the engine oil and the coolant. Actually this

temperature sensor will expand if the engine temperature has reached 105

rotate.

mechanical system rotates following the rotation of the crankshaft, thus simply

Close Radiator

cap is to keep the radiator water from spilling out, the radiator cap also

Thermostat
Thermostat is an automatic valve

How to Take Care of Motorcycle Radiators
Always check the radiator's

The addition of coolant should not

Drain coolant every km 16,000 or 1
